For the Brooklyn rapper/singer Erick the Architect, 2020 made waves for his musical trio the Flatbush Zombies (FBZ) with the release of EP Now More Than Ever, followed by the hit it single 'Afterlife', produced by James Blake. In his side-project endeavours, Erick teamed up with UK rapper Loyle Carner and L.A duo FARR for the heartfelt 'Let it Go'. Now, the rapper releases a solo single 'Skinny Ramen Freestyle'. The song is fixed within a minimal production, based around a guitar loop and simple drum loop. Erick's rap is distinct and bouncy, and he wastes no time in digging into the deeper side of things, 'We should be concerned about how we tune our spirit, instead we get embarrassed...how weak is your marriage in the image of perfection...'.
